Keelboat Twilight Sailing Experience

Throughout the summer season, RGYC is pleased to be able to offer anyone in the community a chance to be a guest on a boat and participate in a club twilight race under the guidance of a skipper/Club member who has kindly offered a free spot on their boat for the evening. There is no cost at all associated with this experience; however you must register for a free day pass via the front desk for safety and insurance reasons.

VRCA Twilight Guest Crewing Sailing Experience

Is a great way to link in with skippers and other club members if you are interested in seeing what a social sail/racing experience is like on a keelboat or finding an ongoing crew position. The Yot cafe is open in the evening for meals and the RGYC Members Bar for drinks after the race. The Royal Geelong Yacht Club likes to provide a welcoming, social and friendly environment for all.

When: This experience runs from October to December and February to April each year.

Note: Availability is subject to skippers/members having room onboard their vessel so spots are limited and must be pre-booked.
